NOVA Horse is a Belgium-based matchmaking agency for dressage riders and trainers around the world. We sit at the centre of Europe’s best horse-producing regions: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France. Every horse we put forward has been ridden and assessed by our own team first.
We started NOVA because buying a horse in Europe is still, too often, a matter of trusting the right stranger. We wanted to build the opposite of that: a service that earns trust by saying the uncomfortable thing, by putting every agreement in writing, and by putting the horse’s welfare on the same footing as the sale.
Three things we won't compromise.
Candour
Our advice doesn't bend to close a sale. We've told clients to wait, to walk away from a beautiful horse, and to buy the less expensive one. The match is the business, and a bad match costs everyone more than a lost fee.
Professionalism
From the first brief to the flight home, every step is handled properly and agreed in writing: search, screening, vetting, contract, transport.
Welfare
A match has two halves. We only place a horse where it can flourish, and we say so when a home isn't right.
