Matchmaking for horse and rider
NOVA finds, screens and places European dressage horses for riders in the United States, the Middle East, Asia and beyond. We ride and evaluate every horse ourselves in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France, then handle the trial, the vetting, the negotiation and the journey home.
Not sure if buying a European horse is something for you? Book a discovery call and we'll happily explain how we work and tell you more about the clients we've helped find their perfect equine partner.
Two ways we work.
The service is the same either way: a search built around one rider, carried by our team on the ground in Europe. The only question is who's holding the brief.

I'm looking for a horse
You tell us what you're riding for. We find and ride the candidates in Europe, then stay with you through the trial, the vetting, the purchase and the journey home.

I'm a coach sourcing for a client
You know your rider better than any brief ever could. We put that knowledge to work: a full search shaped by your eye, with your role recognised openly.
ExploreMatchmaking for horse and rider. Both halves of the partnership, equally.
We start by figuring out exactly what you're riding for: your goals, your level, what you actually want from a horse. Then we go through our network looking for a match that works under saddle and in the stable, because a partnership only holds up when the character and the day-to-day fit too, not just the work.
We don't own the horses.
That's the point. We've got nothing to sell you, so when a horse isn't right, we're able to say so. That's our core business: we're here to make a good match between horse and rider.
On the ground in Europe.
We ride, compete and scout where the good horses come from: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France. The yards that matter already know us, and that's not something you build over email.
Horse first. Always.
We only put a horse forward when the fit is fair and kind for both of you. The fit needs to be there under saddle, in the stable, and in temperament. A good match is one the horse benefits from too.
Tell us about the horse you're looking for.
The first call is a conversation, not a pitch. We'll listen to what you're riding for, tell you honestly whether we can help, and explain what the search would look like for you.

We know what a good horse feels like.
Our work is grounded in real competition experience. Our scouts ride and coach at international level, and the rider in the saddle is Antoine Nowakowski, a Grand Prix rider who sits on the horses we put forward. It's how we know what a good horse feels like, not just what it looks like on paper.
